Rehearsal Report, 10.07.2014

Christmas Carolers,

Good job on your first music rehearsal! Here are a couple key notes to remember from last night.

Ganeral Note - Please bring a pencil to rehearsal to mark your music and/or blocking!

In The Bleak Midwinter:
Altos and Tenors - Work on your moving, harmonic notes.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentilemen:
Altos - your Perfect 4th going downwards, just remember 'I've been working on the railroad'! :)
Bass - Ending note, Josh Chrisman sings the bottom for now, and the rest split.

The Holly & the Ivy:
Remember to mark your rests, and don't trip over your quick/eighth notes.

O Come, Emmanuel(FINNALE): Minor(sad) Key Ending!
Tenors - Work that moving line.

O Come, Emmanuel(Opening Act II):
 Soprano - Your vocal line is the same as the first, save for the 'scary/jaws' ending.
Helpful Tip: In Solfa, the ending notes are 'ti do', or a half step away from one another.

Alto -  Your vocal line is the same as the first. Merry Christmas!

Tenor - Your vocal line is the same as the first, save for the happy/major ending note jump.
Helpful Tip: When a minor key goes to a major key by raising the third note in the scale, it's called a Pikardy 3rd.

Bass - Your vocal line is the same as the first. Merry Christmas!
